Our team of experts specializes in non-destructive examination (NDE) of pipelines during anomaly digs and validation of in-line inspection data, utilizing a blend of conventional and advanced technologies.
TechCorr's Pipeline Integrity group provides experts in the nondestructive examination of pipelines during anomaly digs and/or the validation of anomalies for the purpose of qualifying in-line inspection data — using both conventional and advanced technology.
Persons in Charge
We also offer "Persons in Charge" responsible for entire projects and/or acting as the client representative's "Eyes and Ears," overseeing construction contractor performance. PICs have project management and communication expertise and are typically qualified visual inspectors with certification in coatings inspection and/or installation of steel/composite pipe repair solutions.
Engineering Support
TechCorr's pipeline integrity professionals are qualified in obtaining soil samples, measuring pipe-to-soil potentials, soil resistivity, and similar activities. Our Pipeline Integrity professionals are supported by a group of engineers capable of evaluating MAOP and Burst Pressures using RSTRENG and/or KAPPA calculation methodologies.
The PLI COE employs engineers and technicians who design and implement pipeline and facility integrity programs that help clients meet integrity mandates of PHMSA, NACE, API, ASME, OSHA, and others. By combining multiple basic and advanced technologies with other TechCorr COEs, our programs integrate pipeline integrity with PSM programs for refineries, chemical plants, utilities, pump/compressor stations, nuclear plants, and others.
